Chris Chao

Hello! Welcome to 5th Grade and Room 3 with Mr. Chao! I look forward to a great school year with you all and am excited about getting to further know the students, parents, and community at Meadows. I have been teaching at Meadows Elementary for about 6 years now and I love working with the students, my teaching teammates, and the principal. Meadows is truly a warm hearted school, inviting and accepting to everyone. This is where I love to teach, and I feel fortunate to be here with all of you.

This year, we are particularly excited about the rotations in math, social studies and science. The three 5th grade teachers (Chao, Franceschi, and Miko) are teaching what they are passionate about, and as a result, all 5th grade students will benefit and hopefully become inspired. This ‘block’ rotation of different teachers/classes will also help with students and their preparation of the middle school.
