PTA: More than just 'Things'
Have you heard that the PTA pays for “things” and MBEF pays for “people?” Well,
the PTA is more than that. Both organizations work closely to ensure that our
school provides the highest quality education and resources.
The PTA is responsible for providing things like classroom supplies, computers
for the computer lab, the test tubes, beakers and all materials for the science
lab, new books for the library, and even the paper your child’s homework is
printed on.
The PTA also funds campus improvements and programs such as Growing Great, fine
art and cultural arts.
Meadows PTA spends $337 per student, per year. Your $10 PTA membership funds the
national PTA organization, and the rest of your donation is not only tax
deductible, but goes directly to our school!
Your generosity makes a difference in your child’s education every day. Thank
you for your support!
