MBEF PARTICIPATION CLIMBING FOR MEADOWS!
I am very thankful to see that our MBEF participation has hit the 50% mark! Thanks so much for your attention to this crucial fundraiser for our school. Without our contributions to Ed Foundation, your children would not have their media library specialist, computer specialist, health assistant  (Nurse Diana!), p.e. teacher, instructional assistants in Grades 4 and 5m, reading specialists, etc. Our school would be almost unrecognizable in terms of personnel. Many, many thanks for your generosity.

REMINDER TO CHECK UNCLAIMED CLOTHING
This year, we’re trying a new plan to dispose of children’s unclaimed clothing. Rather than waiting until year’s end and inviting parents to walk by the clothing spread around the lunch patio, Cheryl Cleamons, Meadows parent, is picking up the clothing at the end of each month, laundering it and donating it to charity. Disposing of the clothing monthly keeps it from accumulating until the amount is difficult to deal with. You are invited to check the racks on the lunch patio if your child is missing an item of clothing.

DO YOU HAVE AN OLD MICROWAVE TO DONATE?
Please call the Meadows Office if you have a microwave oven in working order that you’re not using. Our cafeteria microwave has burned out. It is used only occasionally to heat up food that isn’t warm enough. Thanks.
