Welcome Meadows Mustangs!
My name is Joanne Michael, and I am the science specialist for Meadows. The science lab is located on the corner of the upper playground, between the parking lot/drop-off and the EDP building.
Every lesson that is presented in the science lab is correlated to what the students are covering in the classroom. The students experience hands-on what they have been reading about in their textbooks or from their teachers, giving them a multi-sensory educational viewpoint, and one that is much more likely for them to remember.
All grades are on a rotating schedule, where 1st and 2nd grade comes once a month, 3rd grade attends every other week, and 4th and 5th grade attends every week. You are always more than welcome to come in and volunteer with your student’s class!
